Vibride c.2002

Strung Apparati

A strung apparatus consists of a rigid frame with tunable strings that are not usually plucked or bowed directly. Objects, such as metal pieces or vibrators, are woven into or hung on the strings. These configurations create polyrhythmic and complex tones that are picked up magnetically.

The Chopper

The Chopper is a radical "table top guitar" while the Subnondo and Vibride are designed for much more massive and sustained configurations.
